Immigration Check-In: New Student

Welcome to UW-Whitewater! 

On the following page, you will provide information about yourself and upload the following immigration documents for you and your dependents.  Please have them ready:
 

• Picture Page of Passport – example
• Entry Stamp in Passport - example
• Visa - example
• I-94 - example
• I-20 or DS-2019 - I-20 example DS-2019 example
• Other Documents (ie I-515A) -  I-515A example

If you have dependents, you must upload the following documents for each dependent. If you do not have dependents, you do not need to upload attached documents.

• Dependent Picture Page of Passport
• Dependent Entry Stamp in Passport
• Dependent Visa
• Dependent I-94
• Dependent I-20/DS-2019
• Dependent Other Documents (ie I-515A)

If you are unable to obtain your I-94 or run into any difficulties collecting the required documentation, contact the International Office. UW - Whitewater International Student and Scholars will review your submitted materials to determine if there are any problems and will advise you on how to resolve the problems.

UPDATE ADDRESSES AND PHONE NUMBER IN WINS

US Department of Homeland Security your addresses to show that you are currently a student here. Please update them in WINS .
 

• In WINS, your mailing address must be your United States physical address.  Instructions: US Physical (mailing) address update instructions
• In WINS, your home address must be a foreign (non-US) address.  Instructions: Foreign (Home) address update instructions
• In WINS, please update LOCAL to your US Phone Number.
