Spring 2026 Orientation Registration

Register for Spring 2026 International & Exchange Student Orientation. Please register by December 15, 2025.

International & Exchange Student Orientation begins at 9:00 am on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Orientation takes place January 21, 22, and 23, 2026.  All required activities will be live that you will attend remotely from within the United States. There will also be in person/hybrid activities throughout orientation with our Global Ambassadors. You will have three days of international student orientation.  Your visa/status requires that you attend.  Undergraduate students will also attend Warhawk Welcome before classes begin.  

Pre-arrival Meeting - Please join us for a pre-arrival meeting to help you prepare for your UWW arrival, orientation, and studies.  The meeting will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 10:00 am Whitewater time.  The link to join is:  https://uww.webex.com/meet/kabrer09 

University Housing
If you are living in University Housing for Spring 2026, please contact housing@uww.edu to plan your arrival and pick up your key.  Please review if you are required to live on campus. You may pick up your key at the front desk of Goodhue Hall from 8:30 am - 4:00 am on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Hotel information is below if you arrive after hours or weekend. 

Traveling from Chicago to Whitewater  Options include:

    - Take a Van Galder / Coach USA bus from Chicago O'Hare to Janesville 

    - Take Uber or Lyft from Janesville shuttle station to the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater
        - Uber 
        - Lyft

   - Mini-van: 
   - Mini-van: University of Wisconsin - Whitewater's Center for Global Education will offer two mini-van pick up times from the Van Galder bus station (CoachUSA) in Janesville, Wisconsin, to bring students to the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater campus.  Pick-up times on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm.  No reservation is required.

   - Hotels in Whitewater (if you are living in the residence halls, you may only pick up your key between 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (M-F))
        - Fairfield Inn 
        - Baymont Inn

Insurance
You are required to participate in the University of Wisconsin System health insurance plan. You will be enrolled in the insurance and billed for the charges on your university bill.  Information can be found at: www.gallagherstudent.com/UWW   DO NOT enroll yourself in the insurance program.  UWW will enroll you and you will find the charges on your bill after the start of the semester.
